    This is beautiful. I love the fabric, I love the colors. I don’t like yellow, but it is perfect for this quilt and makes me change my mind on yellow. Great finish and I bet he will be thrilled.

      Thanks so much Jan, I too am not a real fan of yellow but it is a real mustard in this quilt so not too bright and it sits so well with the blacks and greys. x

    I love the black, white, grey, and mustard yellow palette. It’s sophisticated and fun. The log cabin and its variations is probably my favorite quilt block to work with, and I look forward to watching these courthouse steps evolve and grow for your son.

      Thanks Yvonne, I think I might like to explore the variations of the log cabin as they can look so very different with fabric selections and size. The colours are working so well together and great for a young man, or anyone for that matter 🙂 x

    This is looking lovely – love the vibrancy of the yellow against the black and white. I’m so glad I am not the only one whose quilts get finished for a later birthday than intended!

      Abigail, at the time of his 18th and I apologised for not having it done, he said “its alright Mum my 21st will be fine”, pressure is well and truely on now!!!! he knows me well my boy. Thanks for stopping by Fi x
