Sunday Stash (well sometime this week stash, not necessarily Sunday!) link up with Mollie Sparkles is a very special one this week – #200 for Mr Mollie Sparkles congrats.
Now my stash for this week is from a couple of weeks ago when my Blossom & I visited the Quilt & Craft Show in Brisbane. It was a wonderfully inspiring quilt show but the highlight for me was finding the stall of Reese Scannell Textiles & his most beautiful screen printed shot cottons & linens.
Oh how I wish I could have purchased many more pieces! I think some shot cotton will permanently be on my wish lists (Santa might be getting a long list this year!!!!)
This beautiful piece of screen printed linen just had to come home with me!
At another stall I purchased perle cotton by Valdani in a smoky grey & a lovely burnt brown. I’m not sure what I am going to do with this most wonderful piece of fabric but my gut feeling is to stitch & stitch with these ‘burnt’ colours – I just kept thinking of how it reminded me of a bushfire & the renewal after the fire.
Please take a look over at Reece Scannell Textiles & I am sure that you will agree that these textiles are some of the most uniquely beautiful I have seen in a long time & I work in a fabric shop!
Once again congrats to Mollie Sparkles, pop on over to his blog for peek!
